This is the primary general aviation airport in the greater Copenhagen area.Whereas landing fees in Copenhagen/Kastrup (EKCH) are keeping most general aviation away, the conditions in Roskilde airport are perfectly suited for general aviation. Remember that when departing it is mandatory to send a flightplan or a strip before calling up the tower. Due to noise restrictions it is NOT allowed to overfly many of the cities around the airport. Please check the VFG or AIP closely.

There are self service fuel stations which accepts either BP or Shell cards. Otherwise you can ask for fueling assistance at the briefing office or from the office across the fuel station. tuefreltof

The nearest trainstation is Roskilde station. It is approximately 6 kilometers from the airport and there are frequent trains to Copenhagen Central Station. jt
